Cancellation Policy

At Batter Up Cakes, every custom order is planned, designed, and scheduled specifically for you. Because of the time, supplies, and preparation involved, we ask that all customers review our cancellation policy before placing an order.

 

• A non-refundable retainer/deposit is required to reserve your order date.

• Orders canceled more than 14 days before pickup may receive a credit toward a future order, minus the non-refundable retainer.

• Orders canceled within 14 days of pickup are not eligible for refunds or credits, as supplies and production time have already been committed to your order.

• Orders canceled within 72 hours of pickup are considered fully committed and payment remains due in full.

• If you need to reschedule your order, we will do our best to accommodate based on availability.

• No refunds will be issued for orders not picked up at the scheduled pickup time/date.

 

We understand that life happens, and we always try to work with our customers when possible. Our policies are in place to help protect the time, scheduling, and workload of our small team while continuing to provide high-quality custom cakes for every customer.

Complaints Policy

At Batter Up Cake Bakery, we take pride in creating cakes that are both beautiful and delicious. Every order is handcrafted with care, and we truly want every customer to have a great experience with us.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible by emailing:

To help us properly review your concern, please include:

  • Your full name

  • Date of pickup or event

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the cake or product

  • Any additional details that may help us understand the situation

We review every concern individually and work hard to find fair solutions whenever possible.

Quality Concerns

If you believe there is an issue with the taste or quality of your cake, we ask that the remaining cake be returned to the bakery so our team can properly evaluate the product. Once reviewed, we will work with you toward an appropriate resolution.

Please understand that we are unable to offer refunds or credits for products that have been almost entirely consumed. If the cake has been fully eaten or only a very small amount remains, it limits our ability to investigate the concern fairly.

Damage After Pickup

Once cakes leave the bakery, Batter Up Cake Bakery is not responsible for damage caused during transport, setup, storage, or handling by customers or venues. We are always happy to provide transportation and storage guidance at pickup to help protect your order.
